Divorce School Counseling Small Group - 5 Week ASCA & CASEL Aligned Small Group
Looking for a ready-to-use divorce small group? You'll love this complete 5-week relational aggression group that includes weekly outlines with objectives aligned to CASEL Standards and ASCA Mindsets and Behaviors. This resource includes everything you need to run a successful small group including self-assessments to make data tracking easy.
Students will assess how their parent's divorce is impacting their life, learn coping strategies to use, and identify support people to help them through this tough transition.
This group includes discussion and cooperation-based activities designed to keep students engaged with each other so they can build rapport and expand their support systems.

Week 1: Before and After Divorce Comparison
Week 2: Assessing Relationships
Week 3: Coping Strategies
Week 4: Lifestyle Changes
Week 5: Looking forward to the Future
Here is what's included each week:

- Group Rules: Suggested and DIY Group Rules poster so students can take ownership of the creation of the group rules and norms.
- Feelings Check: Feelings Check Poster to serve as a visual aid for students to self-reflect on their emotional state at the start of each session.
